Remapping the 2.0 CDTI

The Opel Insignia 2013 to 2015 2.0 CDTI runs a factory calibration built to cope with poor fuel, skipped servicing and hot countries. We rewrite the fuelling, boost and timing for this engine on this car, then test it before you get it back. The original file is kept, so it can go back to standard whenever you want.

Diesels like this one gain most through the middle of the rev range, which is where you actually drive. It pulls from lower down, holds a gear on a hill, and needs fewer downshifts to overtake. Drive it the same way afterwards and the economy usually improves a little.

Figures on this page are for a standard car in good health. We read the fault codes and check the basics first, and if something needs attention we will tell you before we write anything. Have a look at the other engines on the 2013 to 2015, the full Insignia range, or everything we do for Opel.
