Other files for this engine
All written for the 550i - valvetronic specifically.
What STAGE 1 involves
Stage 1 is for a standard car with nothing fitted. We read the original file off the ECU, write a calibration developed for the 550i - valvetronic, then road or rolling road test it before handing the car back. Nothing is added and nothing is removed, so it looks and services exactly as it did.
It takes most of a day. We keep your original file, so it can go back to standard at any point. Figures here are for a healthy 550i - valvetronic, and we check the car over before writing to it.
See the full 550i - valvetronic page for every file and figure, the other engines on this 5-Series, or all BMW remapping.
